Valimon Sali's ruggedly stylish industrial rooms suit parties of up to 100, corporate events, and evening gatherings of every kind. With generous ceiling height, an epoxy-coated concrete floor, and a bold look, the versatile space is designed especially for larger groups who want to enjoy the evening at ease and without worrying about disturbing anyone – here the party can carry on loudly into the small hours!
The venue is only a few hundred metres from Pitäjänmäki railway station, and a bus stop is directly in front of the building. Arriving is easy by public transport or by car, as the yard and the neighbouring street have plenty of free, unrestricted parking.
The brand-new open kitchen has two convection ovens, two microwaves, a full-height freezer and fridge, a giant coffee maker, and a large glass-door cooler besides. The kitchen's large islands work splendidly as buffet tables, and the freely movable solid-wood dining tables allow arrangements for the most varied of events.
Some of the hall's table groups can also be moved out of sight to make room for, say, a large dance floor. The adjoining cabinet room has giant leather sofas and a giant TV, made for karaoke among other things. Crowning it all is the fully adjustable RGB smart lighting in both rooms, whose brightness and colours can be tuned without limit.
The hall carries an eight-speaker Klipsch sound system and a 98-inch TV, and the cabinet its own Denon sound system and an 85-inch TV. A microphone setup can be rented separately: independent two-mic wireless systems for both rooms, with use of the karaoke software.

House Rules
1. Arrival
The entrance is at the top of the staircase, at the street end of the building.
Moving anywhere else in the building is strictly prohibited except when arriving at the space and when leaving it.
2. The dishwasher
The industrial dishwasher in the kitchen washes fast and less thoroughly than a domestic one: the stickiest marks are washed off by hand first, and it can be worth soaking dishes before they go in. The machine takes about 45 minutes to heat up before the first wash, as dishes do not come clean in cool water.
At the end of the booking the machine is emptied with the drain programme, switched off, and the four filter grilles in its base and the cone-shaped filter are removed and washed. No food residue may be left in the filters or anywhere else in the machine.
3. Condition of the space
The cleanliness of the space and any damage — rubbish, broken furniture or dishes, marks on surfaces and the like — are checked immediately on arrival, and anything amiss is reported by text message before the space is taken into use. If no report is made, the space is considered to have been in order when the booking began.
4. End-cleaning
The space is left in the condition it was in on arrival, ready for the next renter to use. Every dish that was used is washed, dried and returned to its place. The floors of both rooms and of the toilets are vacuumed and mopped, and all tables and counters are wiped. The fridges, the freezer, the microwaves and the ovens are washed if they were used. Furniture that was moved is returned to where it stood.
The bins are emptied, and the rubbish and any food are taken to the building's sorting point on the loading dock at the edge of the car park. Every bin gets a fresh bag; bags are in the kitchen drawers under the sink.
The soap, toilet paper and hand towel dispensers in the toilets are refilled. Soap and paper are in the cleaning cupboard beside the toilets.
End-cleaning can be ordered with the booking. It is then enough to put loose rubbish, cans and bottles in the tubs in the space and return any furniture and equipment that was moved; the rubbish does not have to leave the space.
Incomplete end-cleaning is charged as a penalty at twice the cleaning fee.
5. Leaving
The space and the whole building must be left by the end of the booked time at the latest, at which point the alarm system arms. The key is left on the kitchen counter on the way out.

Cancelled at least 56 days before the start: the full price is refunded, less €100
After that: no refund
